SMS Message Services
To satisfy readers’ demand for effectiveness in information services and provide individualized services via various channels, JNU library now launches three SMS message services.
SMS notices of personal borrowing information
These notices includes SMS notices of borrowing, returning, overdue books and book reservation information.
SMS notices on lectures, training and other temporary things
When the time is due, a SMS will be sent to the reader to remind him or her to attend the applied lectures, training or other temporary things.
Item message on your seeking books
You can send the item message including call no. and location to your mobile phone in OPAC which you are seeking.
Readers can obtain the services on the library home page. Detailed procedures are as follows:
Open the web page: http://lib.jnu.edu.cn/ , verify your student number and log into “my library”. Then click on SMS/ E-mail icon on the left of the page to visit the edit page of readers’ personal information. After all, fill in your cell phone number and submit, and then you will be able to obtain the library’s SMS services.
There are two kinds of e-book readers available for your choose. They are Hanwang N618 and Bambook. All of them can be loaned free.
